Robert Ramstack Awarded Prestigious Ozanam Award
St. Vincent de Paul Society (St. Vinny) Council President Honored by Milwaukee Archdiocese
Robert Ramstack, St. Vincent de Paul Society-Council President, was awarded the prestigious Ozanam Award in April by the Archdiocesan St. Vincent de Paul-President, Bill Thimm. This award is conferred annually to one outstanding Vincentian who has promoted growth within St. Vincent de Paul by expanding the organization’s conferences to help those in need in a community. Mr. Ramstack demonstrates exemplary dedication, compassionate service to those in need and extraordinary service due to his tireless efforts to expand the St. Vinny’s presence and partnerships in Fond du Lac County. Under Mr. Ramstack’s leadership, St. Vinny now has 5 Conferences in Fond du Lac County, including the newly added Holyland and Ripon Conferences to the current Conferences of Holy Family, Shepherd of the Hills, and Waupun. The combined efforts of these five Conferences has allowed SVDP to expand efforts to serve those in need throughout Fond du Lac County. He also led the initiative to add additional space at the SVDP Thrift Store on N. Peters Ave. Mr. Ramstack adds “I am pleased to accept the Ozanam Award, and continue to search for opportunities for St. Vincent de Paul to expand in Fond du Lac County.”
