Ozanam Award

Bob Sullivan, center, of St. Vincent de Paul of Fond du Lac, has been awarded this year’s Ozanam Award by the Milwaukee Archdiocese   He stands between Mary Kay Gorst, treasurer of the Waupun Conference of the Society, at left, who nominated Sullivan, and at right, Bob Ramstack, council President.  The award is presented annually to Vincentians “In recognition and appreciation for extraordinary contributions and commitment to the mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, in the spirit of its founder Frederic Ozanam.”  Conferences nominate members they believe are exemplary in ways they have carried out the Society’s mission in their communities.
