New Clothing Pricing System
We’re making changes to help get more clothing onto our sales floor faster!
Starting Monday, October 26, 2026, we are introducing a new color-coded pricing system for many of our clothing items.
Instead of traditional paper price tags, select clothing will now have small colored attachers that indicate the price. This change will help us reduce paper waste, simplify pricing, and get more great clothing finds onto the racks for you!
How Does the New Clothing Pricing Work?
When shopping for clothing, if you don’t see a paper price tag, simply look for a small colored attacher near the right shoulder of the garment.
Each color represents a specific price:
- 🟡 Yellow = $3.99
- 🔴 Red = $4.99
- 🩷 Pink = $5.99
If you’re familiar with our dollar and blue bargain clothing, this new system works in a similar way.
At checkout, our cashiers will scan a code for each color, helping make the checkout process faster and easier.
Will All Clothing Have Color-Coded Prices?
No. Some clothing items will continue to have traditional paper price tags, including:
- Pants and other hard-to-size clothing
- Designer clothing
- Two-piece items, such as swimwear and pajamas
- Undergarments
- Children’s clothing
For these items, simply refer to the paper price tag as usual.
Will Clothing Still Be Organized by Size?
Yes! Our clothing racks will still be organized by size.
As new clothing is placed on the sales floor, our team will continue to organize it behind the appropriate size circles on the racks.
You can shop by size just as you always have!
Why Are We Making This Change?
We’ve heard your requests to get more clothing onto the sales floor faster, and we’re listening!
By reducing the time spent attaching individual paper price tags, our staff and volunteers can focus more on preparing and stocking clothing for our shoppers.
This new system will help us:
- Get more clothing onto the racks faster
- Reduce the amount of paper we use
- Simplify pricing for many common clothing items
- Help speed up the checkout process
Have Questions? We’re Happy to Help!
We understand that a new pricing system may take a little getting used to.
If you’re unsure about a price or need help finding something, please ask one of our friendly staff members or volunteers. You’ll often recognize them by their blue shirts.
