A Weekly Program Getting Ahead supports participants as together they investigate causes of financial struggle and build resources to get ahead in a just-getting-by world.

- A way to meet others who share some of the same challenges/struggles
- Uses small group discussion to solve problems
- Helps overcome obstacles to your financial success
- Helps develop a plan – a future story – and set goals
- Empowers you to make changes
- Builds self – esteem, self-worth, confidence
