Volunteer Coordinator Job/Public Relations Position

St. Vincent de Paul-Fond du Lac has been helping people experiencing poverty for nearly 85 years. We successfully deliver services to thousands of individuals in our local community as well as operate a thriving Thrift Store. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and collectively log thousands of hours per year. We pride ourselves by humbly serving those less fortunate and would like you to be a part of this history of service.
St. Vincent de Paul-Fond du Lac offers an excellence benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, investment plans, long-term disability and life insurance. No work on Sundays, occasional even presentations. Salary for this position is based on experience. Job duties to be discussed at interview.
-Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in stressful situations
-Excellent public speaking skills
-Associate’s Degree in related field such as Marketing or Journalism. (Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred)
-Excellent customer service and people skills
-Ability to convey the mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul effectively to drive volunteer enrollment, donations and Thrift Store sales.
-MS Office and Social Media savvy strongly preferred.
-Excellent writing and proofreading skills
-Good verbal and written communications skills
-Experience in public speaking
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a rapid work environment.
-Strong ability to maintain confidentiality.
